Collin and Deanna
Hello!
We’re Collin and Deanna. We are so thankful for your courage, generosity, and willingness to help us complete our family.
We have been married for 4½ years and together for nearly 7 years. We’re both mature and young at heart, extremely active, and our interests are incredibly diverse. Collin loves to surf and ski while Deanna enjoys coaching girls basketball, cooking, shopping at boutique stores, and throwing parties for friends and family. We both love to travel – often taking trips to Hawaii or California and usually an international trip at least once a year. Some of our favorite places so far are Bali, Egypt, Spain, and Buenos Aires.
We live in a fun neighborhood that puts us close to many of the things we like to do such as watch football and basketball games, go to the theater, run our dog (a golden doodle with a friendly personality) at the park, watch movies or concerts, waterski around the lake in our boat, visit museums, go out to eat, and fly to nearby towns or islands in a small plane (Collin has a pilot’s license). Kids like to visit us because we’re close to the zoo, children’s museum, aquarium, and a huge fountain that’s fun to play in during the summer. But what we really love about where we live is that we’re close to our families (our 96-year old grandparents, parents, siblings, and 9-year old nephew) and good friends so that we can see them frequently. When we aren’t out and about, we also enjoy spending quiet evenings at home with just the two of us – cooking dinner and watching TV or movies (usually an action flick or a comedy).
Aside from having lots of fun together, we also run our own successful businesses – Collin does strategic consulting and investment and Deanna has her own Public Relations firm. Although both of us work very hard today (we have a play hard, work hard mentality), Deanna is very much looking forward to becoming a stay-at-home mom once we start our family.
If you select us, your child will be raised in an incredibly loving and supportive home that will always be filled with laughter, amazing life adventures, as well as a wonderful mix of activities, culture, and experiences. In addition to the two of us (and hopefully a future sibling or two!), your child will be surrounded by a strong community of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends. We’ll also share the values that our parents and grandparents have passed down to us – kindness, honesty, perseverance, and the belief that if you work diligently, you can reach any life goal.
