We cannot begin to understand what you are going through. Considering the option of adoption for your child must be a very difficult decision. Finding the right family to provide a loving and supportive home for your child must be an extremely difficult one as well. By contemplating the path of open adoption we recognize that you are demonstrating considerable strength, love and concern for the long-term well being of your child. We would like to express our sincere respect and thanks to you for considering us in the plans for your child's future.
We live in a beautiful cozy bungalow in a scenic residential community in the Northwest and have enjoyed nearly ten years together as a couple. Cooking with fresh vegetables from our garden and working on home renovation projects are routine pleasures for us. We are nature lovers and enjoy walking, hiking and traveling to National Parks and other scenic destinations. Professionally, we both work in the arts and we regularly visit museums, attend the theatre and perform and listen to music. We also enjoy sports, particularly cheering for our city's basketball team. Reading a novel or watching a movie is a favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Most of all, we enjoy spending time together.
As parents, we hope to provide a loving, nurturing and stable environment for our child. We approach life with great positivism and desire to build our family grounded in love, support, intellectual stimulation and spiritual guidance. We are blessed with loving family members and are surrounded by a wonderful, diverse group of friends and neighbors who will also help to create a warm, friendly and supportive environment for our child. We very much want to help our child see the beauty in life and nature and to become a kind, caring, well-rounded individual.
We are awed by the enormity of the decision you are contemplating. Be assured that we will always continue to support your decision with admiration and respect. We dream of welcoming a child into our home -- a generous, loving and stimulating setting that will be everything you imagine and wish for your child. We also look forward to developing and nourishing a relationship with you that will enable you to remain involved with your child for a lifetime.
